Social Services for Nazi victims have been supported by a grant from the Conference on Jewish Material Claims Against Germany.

Jewish Community Council of Greater Coney Island is eternally grateful to the Altman Foundation (Deborah T. Velazquez, President; Jane B. O’Connell, Chair; Karen L. Rosa, past long term Vice President and Executive Director) for serving as our first Foundation funding source and thereby as catalyst opening the door to Foundation support to JCCGCI. Over the past more than three decades, myriads of services to the full spectrum of the needy of our society has resulted from Altman Foundation’s vision.
