Driver – CDL Class B & Passenger Endorsement

The Senior Citizens Driver is responsible for driving seniors to and from medical appointments, and other such errands.

The Driver will collaborate with administrative staff and follow routes for transporting seniors.

Requirements:

Must have:

• CDL Class B with Passenger Endorsement
• Clean driving record; good references
• 3 years of driving experience in NYC
• No more than 1 moving violation in the past 24 months
• No driving while intoxicated convictions
• Must be able to lift 30 pounds
• Must demonstrate sensitivity to seniors
• Must be punctual and reliable
• Ability to make determinations of best procedures and practices to attain goals of the position

Supervision: Driver reports directly to the Transportation Coordinator

Work Schedule: Mon-Fri: 8am-4pm

(Occasionally called upon to work odd schedules (when trips occur after-hours or on the weekends).

Language Skills: Ability to read, write, converse in English

Russian Speaking, a major plus!
