Job description
Youth Development Instructor’s will foster an atmosphere of fun and learning; utilizing a broad range of sports and arts related activities where the concept of teamwork, fair play and sportsmanship can flourish and serve as a role model to youth.
Must have the experience in teaching one of the following:
A foreign language teaching artist, Digital artist, Film, Double-Dutch/Jump Rope, Specialized sports instruction, dance (hip-hop, modern, cultural dances), vocal teacher, Math Science, STEM or other school subjects.
This position includes (but is not limited to) the following responsibilities:
- Prepare curriculum
- Plan daily lessons
- Direct, guide and instruct participants in sessions and events.
- Interact with Program Director to assure proper functioning of program.
- Maintenance of participant and program recordkeeping and statistics, including attendance, in full compliance with the requirements of the program’s funding sources and JCCGCI standards.
- Report student’s progress to site coordinator on a monthly basis.
- Other activities as assigned by the Program Director.
PT/8 hours per week
Job Type: Part-time
Salary: $30.00 – $40.00 per hour
