While catering primarily to seniors of a Sephardic Jewish background, the Ocean Parkway Senior Center provides services and activities that any older adult can benefit from.

The centers director, Esther Tashker, is attentive to the needs of seniors in frail health, overseeing the distribution of more than 300 meals seven days a week to home bound elderly in the Flatbush / Sheepshead Bay area.
Seniors who are mobile come to the center daily for a hot kosher breakfast and lunch, which is made even more enjoyable by the friendly group atmosphere.
