 Invites all seniors (60 years of age and older)

To participate in our new Educational Workshop Series in partnership with

Wildlife Conservation Society’s New York Aquarium

“Connecting our Community to the Amazing Marine World

in our Backyard and on our Planet”

Come explore the wonders of our aquatic world with us!  Investigate the diversity of marine life near and far; discover how plants and animals adapt to life in the water; learn how you can make a difference to help keep our blue planet healthy.  Experience Exhibit talks, biological artifact handling, and behind the scene experiences as you learn about  shark natural history, fish diversity, marine microscopic life, penguin natural history, deep sea adaptations, beach ecology, seals, sea lions and otters, coral reef conservation, and animal husbandry.  A different topic will be presented each month specially for our group at the New York Aquarium.

 First Session:  Tuesday, October 8 from 2:00-3:00   (Bus leaves Coney Island Seaside ISC at 1:30)

First Topic:  Penguins

                       Registration in advance is required.  Groups are limited and expected to fill up quickly.
